About Zeus

Zeus is a neutered male. DOB 9-18-2014. All his shots are up to date, however he has not been started on heartworm pills as of yet this year, so that will need to be done ASAP. Zeus is a great dog and would be a great addition to a home in the country were he has more room to run and bark. He has never been alone before, there is usually someone home with him, and if all the people are gone a dog is home with him to keep him company, so a stay at home mom or dad would be ideal for Zeus. Zeus has an extremely loud bark and he will bark even if he has a bark collar on, which makes him not suitable for cities and suburban living which is where we live. Your neighbors will complain about the noise. This is the only reason we are looking to rehome him. Zeus loves children, and he gets along with other dogs. We also have a Chihuahua mix (small dog) and a German Shepherd (very large dog). He has never been around cats so would not recommend a home with a cat, because he does chase to catch squirrels. He tries to hunt squirrels and the occasional coon that enters our yard in the subdivision. He does dig holes in the yard but that is exercise for him so I just fill them in weekly for him. He loves to ride in cars and go for walks. We do not want to rehome him however his loud bark does not go well with our neighbors so we have decided it would be best to find him a home in the country were he has more room to run and bark. He has always been a house dog and has never lived outside so must remain a house dog. He is house broken and a joy to have around he will sleep in bed with you if you let him, but he will sleep on the sofa if you don't. He truly is a great dog and he will be greatly missed.
