About Diego

Diego is a goofy 3.5 month old Terrier mix looking for his forever home. He weighs just over 7 pounds and still has some growing to do. Diego came into AZSDR with 21 other dogs, they were living in a hoarding home where 28 dogs lived in only a 1000 sq foot apartment. The dogs were well cared for but there wasn't much opportunity for them to build trust with their humans. Diego will need a home willing to work with him on his socialization and let him go at his own pace. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and must have a canine companion in his new home. Diego also loves to play with any kind of toys he can get his paws on. Diego would do best with another active dog that loves humans so he can continue to learn to trust his people. He will need training as he adjusts in his home. Diego already knows how to use the doggy door! He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and vet checked.
