About Mr. Gower

Looking for a faithful companion who loves car rides, short walks, and long naps? Then look no further than Mr. Gower. This affectionate Rat Terrier is around 10 years old and weighs 24 lbs. His size and sturdy build suggest that he may have had a Decker Rat Terrier ancestor. Mr. G has lost most of his eyesight, but it causes no issues because he's able to follow his own mental map to get around the house and yard. He even finds the dog door by himself to go potty outside. Mr. G is very fond of tennis balls, and his favorite game is 'putt putt' fetch, a modified version of fetch where he retrieves a ball rolled across the floor by following its scent. He has also been known to find long-lost tennis balls around the house and yard. Sweet Mr. Gower has adjusted well in his foster home, but he longs to have a family of his own. When that day arrives, we know he'll be thinking, 'Home at last! It's a wonderful life!'
