Adoption Fee: $400
Poodle
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Name: Cowboy Brookshire Sex: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Poodle (Toy) (long coat) Weight: 15 lbs Height: in Estimated Birthdate: 12/15/2008 Fence Needed: No Location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Adoption Fee:$400 for the pair Date into Rescue: 4/17/2019 Reason for being in rescue: Cowboy and his siblings were loving surrendered by their owner whose health no longer allowed her to care for her babies Special Needs: none noted What kind of home would be best for me: Cowboy and his sister Cowgirl are litter mates who were born less than 12 minutes apart. They have been together their entire lives and are looking for a home that has room in their heart for both babies. Cowboy is the alpha in the pair and very bonded to his sister. What is my personality like: Cowboy's name is appropriately fitting. Like the great Western cowboys, this boy is fiercely loyal with a tough exterior masking a warm soul. In actuality there is nothing tough about Cowboy. He is a gentle soul who really wants nothing more than a lap to sit in. He will sit there and let you do all of your computer work with no problem. Cowboy is attentive and aware of the world around him. Any time you stop what you are currently doing to get into something else he has his ears perked up, watching everything you do. He wants to know exactly what it is you are doing and why! Cowboy does not know any basic commands. He did seem a little interested in the squeaky stuffed animal, but is far more interested in knowing where the treats are. How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly Tips and Tidbits: Cowboy is a wonderful gentleman who would love to call you his! House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
