About Wyatt (east)

My name is WYATT ID#A4224463 I am a neutered male, black and white American Pit Bull Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old. I have been at the shelter since Mar 26, 2019. This sweet little guy was surrendered to the shelter because he nipped at a 2 year old Apparently, the child was holding and squeezing him, and he reacted as expected. He is still just a puppy, and obviously has not had any real training. He is a friendly little guy, only weighs about 30 lbs, but needs to get adopted right now. Once a dog is surrendered to the shelter due to a bite incident, his chances for survival dwindle. Besides that, Wyatt has been incarcerated now for over a month, and is beginning to show signs of kennel deterioration. This happens to all social animals eventually when they have been incarcerated for long periods of time. They need social interaction whether with other dogs or people. If Wyatt is not found an outlet in the next few days, he will not leave the shelter on all fours.
