About Seymour

Hi! My name is Seymour! I weigh 51 pounds. Just LOOK at my handsome face! I am an 8 year old Shar-Pei Lab mix. I had a rough life before being rescued by Project Hope. I was underweight, had several bit wounds and didn't have a lot of fur. Just look at me now! Don't let my age fool you. I am still full of spunk and love to play. I love daily walks on the leash, but I really just like to spend most of my time lounging! Since I am getting up there in age, I am on glucosamine for my arthritis. I am also a little hard of hearing, but I can hear you if you speak up just a little. I would love to have a nice fenced in back yard to run around in safely because I might not always hear a car coming. The friendly doctors at the vet's office said that I need grain free food because of my allergies. I am currently eating Nature's Recipe. I am also currently being treated for heartworm, but that doesn't slow me down! I am house broken for the most part, but I do have an occasional accident every now and then. I do well in a crate while you are gone to work, or I can be left out of my crate to just sleep around the house. If you want to take me for a car ride, I love to smell the country air!
