About Jake

This handsome boy is Jake! He is a beautiful JRT Dachshund mix who was found as a stray along with another little dog. They had made a family together and then were all surrendered with their pups to the rescue. We believe he is only 1-2 years old and he is 13 pounds of sweetness! He gets along fine with other dogs and really likes kids. He loves playing and snuggling in the big bed with the rest of the pack! He also loves to be outside and will need a fenced in yard to keep him safe as he was a wanderer in the past. Jake is fully vetted, Heartworm negative, microchipped and neutered. He is still working on his potty skills because we don't believe he was an inside dog in the past but he has already mastered the dog door and, with his obvious smarts, he will get the hang of it in no time. He is a fabulous little guy! All Jake needs now is that perfect home! Could it be yours?
