He must be on flea & tick preventative for the rest of his life. What kind of home would be best for me: If you are looking for a young, playful cat, Little Nicky is your boy. He would prefer a home with no other dogs. He is fine with other cats. Nicky's main criteria is someone who loves young kitten energy but a snuggle buddy when it is bed time. What is my personality like: Little Nicky was found while a CPR employee was helping a neighbor at the farm gather her goats that had gotten out. She noticed he looked sickly and decided to bring him back to the farm to nurse him back to better health. Little Nicky is as cute as can be, but if you look you can see patches of missing hair all over his body. This is due to a flea allergy. He is currently being treated and he will need to be kept on monthly flea preventative. Little Nicky isn't the most graceful kitty, but he tries to be! Sometimes he falls when he tries to leap to another spot and even wobbles when he walks. Our veterinarian believes this is from mild cerebellar hypoplasia which can stem for exposure to panleucopenia virus between 6 and 12 weeks of age. No worries! Little Nicky is in no pain and this should not be a problem long term per the vet! Nicky is still a kitten, so as you can imagine nothing is going to stop him from playing like any other young cat. He can entertain himself for hours finding things on the floor to pounce on, or chase. He is a lively soul and loves to have little talks with you. He will 'meow' at you as long as you are talking to him. After a morning full of playing he likes to climb up in the cat tower and take naps. Little isn't too sure what cat treats are yet. He is social and loves to meet people.. anything that will get him more attention! Nicky gets along great with dogs and will even rub up against them to cuddle. He has pretty much ignored the other office cat, Salem. Nicky is just a sweet and playful kitten that would do well in any home that is looking for a cat to love. How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly Tips and Tidbits: Little Nicky is a bundle of love packed into a tiny body! House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
