About Fernando

American Staffordshire Terrier mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

FERNANDO...60 pounds of love, 4 years old and YES I am a boy! Interesting story...at animal control no one bothered to check if I was a boy or girl and named me Fern. My foster kept it because I was unique and yes loved!. People call me a 'love bug' which I am not sure why since I am not a bug but a dog. I love everyone. Might be better to have an older child because I am working on the words 'no jump' but I am just so dang happy to see you. I hang out with another big dog but like all sizes. Love to go for walks on my leash. I am both housebroken and kennel trained and proud of myself that I don't have accidents in the house. I am pretty energetic and I get very excited when my foster mom tells me how one day I will be hiking and climbing mountains and be one with nature. My favorite thing is to get belly and head rubs and just cuddle. My foster promises she will tell my family this because I am so lovable. Our $350 adoption fee includes all vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip, health certificate, and transport to the Pacific Northwest on our next transport). Please be advised that our dogs are adopted to their forever families prior to being transported to the Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot bring dogs for a typical meet and greet situation due to the extensiveness of the transport distance and it being unfair for the dogs who are not adopted to have to make the trip back. Currently, we have a transport scheduled at least once a month, departing Texas and arriving in the Pacific Northwest. It will be the adoptive family's responsibility to meet our transport team to pick up your new family member. If interested in learning more please email us at [email protected]. Due to the number of requests that we receive on our puppies and dogs, please be advised that all adoption applications are processed in the order received. Once we send you an application, your place in line does not get reserved until your application is returned to us. Faith and Hope Foundation, Inc
