About Jacco (east)

This is Jacco, ID# A4206817 He is a 3 year old, male neutered, brown American Staffordshire Terrier mix. Poor old Jacco was very sick when he came to the shelter, and it took about 2 months to get him healthy. He is a very strong boy, and needs a firm hand. He is a loving dog, but will sometimes jump on you, and needs correction. Jacco also seems to be quite protective of whomever he views as his human. He was adopted for about a week in March, but nipped at a visitor to the home, and the owner returned him to the kennel. Whenever this happens, it puts the dog a great risk for euthanasia. Most times, the dog is only being overly protective. We have been informed that Jacco will face euthanasia within the next couple of days if we are unable to find an outlet for him. Please consider making Jacco a member of your family. Due to his strength and need for more training, we suggest he be the only dog in the house, and not around small children.
