About Lady Bug

Meet Lady Bug! She is a beautiful little red Dachshund Chihuahua mix! She is about 6 years old and weighs 10 pounds. She was surrendered to the rescue because of her owner's health issues. Lady Bug was very confused and scared to begin with but she has settled in nicely now and is a relaxed, sweet little girl. She is excited when you come home and wants to give love and kisses when she sees you. She loves to play and likes toys too! After dinner she likes to sit by you while you watch TV or read and she just relaxes til it's bedtime. Lady Bug likes to make sure she has her spot next to you in bed but she is a considerate sleeper and you don't even know she's there. She just likes to be close to her person. She is housebroken and uses the pet door by herself she she needs to go out. Lady Bug does great with other dogs but has not been cat tested. She enjoys walking on a leash and overall she is a low maintenance, affectionate, well behaved snuggler. She doesn't necessarily need a yard and would do well as an apartment dog. Other than going outside to do her business she is generally content to be inside with her person til it's time to go out again, but we recently discovered she loves the water and enjoys splashing around in the shallows to keep cool. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative, microchipped and spayed. Now all she needs is a new family!
