About Tara

Tara is our beautiful American Pit Bull Terrier and she lives in a home with 2 children, 3 cats and a Miniature Pinscher. She very affectionate and loving to humans. She gets along great with our other animals but the Min Pin can aggravate her at times. She has not been socialized with our animals outside our home. Our family is relocating to S Florida in a few months and most likely won't have a backyard. It will be too difficult to walk both dogs on a leash, and we're worried about local laws and legislation regarding Pit Bulls. We are looking for a good, loving home for Tara. She requires a lot of attention and to be the only animal in the house. She loves to play outside, but she is not kept outside at all. I have had her since she was 5 weeks old. She doesn't like to wear a collar, but I can put it on her. As far as walks, it takes her awhile to get used to a leash. She will walk beside you in the house and in back yard with no problems at all.
