Meet Little bit. Little bit is a 7-8 year old treeing walker coonhound who has hunted deer all of her life. She was also very good at this. However, this past year, her speed was not enough to keep up with the young dogs so her owner threatened to retire her by shooting her. Rescue found out in time to rescue Littlebit. Littlebit can run just fine and is perfect health. However, she can't run as fast as a 1 or 2 year old. We still think she makes an excellent pet. She is a small walker hound and could very well have some beagle in the mix which a popular mix in rural areas. Littlebit gets along fabulously with other dogs and the resident cat as well. I don't think she would do well with squirrels or rabbits though as she was trained to tree them. She would do well with children though and appreciate a soft couch as well. Little bit is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to adopt at brantleyanimalrescuecoalition.weebly.com
