About Hagrid (west)

My name is HAGRID - ID#A4241348 I am a male, brown and black Chow Chow mix. The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old. I have been at the shelter since Apr 17, 2019. Hagrid is a very nervous guy, he is timid and you have to go slow with him. He loves treats and you can motivate him to walk on the leash using them. He seems to get along fine with other dogs, but if you already have a dog, bring it down to meet Hagrid before taking him home with you. Hagrid needs an adopter who is experienced with the breed and who has patience. He is not a dog who is going to run up to you for attention. Once he is comfortable, he does enjoys being petted and he takes treats gently. He is a really sweet boy who just needs someone to show him he is loved and safe.
