About Posey

Posey is a very sweet and loving dog. She's one of three dogs in our home and has lived her whole life with our 4 kids. We used to live in Washington where she had trails to roam and a woodsy dog park. Once we moved to California she got very bored (even with walks and runs) and has become a danger to herself. She sneaks into the pantry if we don't remember to put the child lock on, she climbs the 6' back fence even when it hurts. She doesn't leave, but has learned to come around front and open the door to let herself back in if the door is unlocked. Otherwise, she just jumps back over. She unfortunately currently has hurt pads from climbing. She enjoys when you train her, has a great hunting nose (went out back and found our foster puppy when he wasn't answering our call), she's the cutest sweetest dog! We would love to keep her but she's bored out of her mind and we just can't keep her safe from herself anymore ���� she would do well with some room to play, hiking, being trained for hunting, and has already done well with a multi dog home. Our other big dog doesn't like to play but she did enjoy playing with dogs in the dog park and knows how to play gently with our chihuahua.
