Dug is rambunctious, loves running and chewing on toys, giving kisses, and laying at your feet. He even likes to pretend he's helping with yard work by showing you all the big sticks he's carrying around. He loves meeting new people and will roll over for anyone to give him some belly scratches. I unfortunately cannot give Dug the time, attention, or space he deserves. He is ~4 years old, good with all humans (although will bark at strangers coming up to the house), and would prefer to be the only animal in the house as he can be territorial of his space and toys. He knows how to walk on the leash but can be reactive to other dogs and squirrels. He prefers dog friends of the opposite sex but it still requires some supervision the first couple of times they meet. Dug is also up to date on all vaccinations and in perfect health as of his last vet appointment on March 27, 2019. Dug would thrive in a family that has a big backyard or other open space. He knows sit, down, stay, come, touch, away, and leave it commands but needs practice around distractions. Good thing he is extremely food motivated! This sweet boy is perfect for someone who can give him all their love because he will give all of his in return.
