Hi, my name is ROCKY - ID#A4238478 I am a neutered male, tan and black German Shepherd Dog. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old, and I have been at the shelter since Apr 11, 2019. I'm about 2 years old and I was surrendered for chasing chickens. Aren't dogs supposed to chase chickens? Hmm, guess not. I get along with other dogs, so if you already have one, bring it on down to the shelter so we can meet before I go home with you. I'm sweet and gentle and a little shy at first. I walk good on the leash, and would love to be somebody's walking or hiking companion. I haven't been around kids so I'm not sure how I would be with them. I have been at the shelter for quite a while, and if I don't get adopted soon, they say I will go on the euthanasia list. I don't know what that is, but it doesn't sound too good. If you'll just give me a chance, I promise I'll be a good boy, and I will love you forever. I promise.
