She wandered up to their place of business after apparently being dumped in the area. They searched for her owners, but after a few months and no claim of ownership they agreed to foster her for the rescue. When we got her into the vet she had even more surprises for us...she was pregnant! On December 22 she gave birth to 10 babies with 7 surviving. She was a good Mommy and all but 1 of her puppies have been adopted so far, and now it's her turn. Emmie Lou is an Australian Cattle Dog mix we believe and is estimated to have been born in February of 2018. She weighs a little over 50 lbs. She can be a little shy when first meeting strangers, but she warms up quickly. She loves to take daily walks, playing with other pups, doing zoomies around the yard, and chasing squirrels. She is working on crate training and house training, and is good with older, considerate children. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
