About Blanca

My name is Blanca - I am a Border Collie and am 8 years old. I can tell you it sure sucks to have your owner die and leave you with no one to care for you. Then I end up in rescue and they find out I am heartworm positive so had to receive treatment for that but thank goodness that is now done. I lived most of my life outside but I am liking being inside with a comfy bed, food on a regular basis and someplace warm to sleep at night. I am here at Patriot's with my brother Joe and both of us are looking for a forever home to love and care for us in our senior years. We can be separated if needed - we know it is tough to find a home for both of us at the same time. I am spayed, current on all of my shots, have finished my heartworm treatment, am current now on all of my preventatives and I have a micro-chip that has been inserted (ouch). If someone would love us that would be awesome. Being here at the shelter is fine but it isn't meant to be a long term thing. NOTE FROM SHELTER: Blanca is doing extremely well on her housebreaking as long as she gets taken out regularly. Very quiet, gets along with other dogs and is just pretty chill.
