About Ruby

This pretty little Australian Cattledog mix is Ruby. She was born in mid-May 2018 and weighs 35 pounds. She should grow just a little bit more. Ruby came to a Good Samaritan as a stray, and is now ready to find a great home. (Click on youTube button to see video) Ruby is as smart as her breed would suggest. She already knows sit, drop it, and come. She is also house and crate trained, though it takes a moment for her to settle down in her crate. Bella Biscuit is good with other dogs, large and small. She likes to play and is still learning how other dogs like to play. She does get nervous at dog parks, just because she isn't always sure that other dogs will be nice to her. She is also learning how fun a tennis ball can be. With a bit of coaching, she should love playing fetch. Ruby has been good with the men and women she has met. She starts out timid, especially with men, but warms right up. For those she knows, she pours on the affection! She hasn't been kid tested and, because she is shy, would be best with older kids. She will really blossom in a quieter home who takes their time and shows her how great a forever home can be. Ruby will be a wonderful adventure partner. She has the stamina for hikes and jogging. She is good on leash, though she pulls a bit, especially if she sees a squirrel! She is nice in the car. She will love an active home. Ruby is incredibly affectionate, sweet, and cuddly. She is eager to please and��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD%A0intelligent. She will make a great dog for someone who gives her time and gentle leadership.��%BD��%BD%BD��%BD��%BD%BD%BD%A0 Ruby is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Los Angeles and Hemet. We do not ship our dogs. She is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
