About Dot the cuddle bunny

Adoption Fee: $100
Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Hi there! My name is Dot, and I'm a sweet, very friendly, calm, relaxed, contented, affectionate calico DSH gal who was born about April 2017. I'm beautifully marked, and my fur is soft as a bunny's. I just love people of all ages/ sizes, including my foster meowmy's well-behaved young grandsons. I adore attention from my humans --especially being petted and having my ears scratched. In return, to show my appreciation, I give constant kisses by licking my foster meowmy all over when I'm stroked. Plus I have perfect scratching post and litter box manners. I'm also a lap kitty -- I'll curl up in my foster meowmy's lap while she reads the paper. I just like her companionship -- I'm happy to sleep at Meowmy's feet when she naps on the sofa or supervise her typing while she's on the computer. I even follow her around the house like a puppy dog. I hope you'll be interested in adopting me because you're a cat lover who holds a special place in your heart for calico cats! Not to mention that calicoes are thought to be lucky in many cultures. Just visualize Maneki Neko, the Japanese talisman frequently seen in shops and restaurants, who's almost always a calico. A raised right paw is said to bestow good luck and wealth. Also, the higher the paw is raised, the luckier you're going to get. I consider MYSELF lucky because I was living in a ghetto apartment complex when a kind lady started feeding me. I was so friendly with her and other people that the lady turned to Buster's Friends to help me find my forever home. Come to find out, I was already spayed, so I used to have an owner who obviously moved away and left me behind. I assure you that it was probably because of their financial woes and through no fault of my own that they abandoned me to fend for myself. Now I'm safely indoors in my foster home and have kissed good-bye to my hardscrabble life of dumpster-diving. I haven't been around dogs in my foster home, but I know that I'm not good with cats because of my days at the apartments when I had to compete with them in order to eat. I hope you'll arrange to meet me so that I can give you a very 'high five' with my RIGHT paw! Let's start writing a new chapter in our lives together today! Dot is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Dot, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.
