About Gage

Meet Gage! Gage is a handsome fawn/grey brindle 4 yr old boy who is hanging out in foster care while looking for a forever family! Gage would love to be someone's bff or sidekick! Once he bonds with a person, he loves to be right by your side, going for walks, playing fetch, or taking car rides for day adventures. He loves to snuggle and give LOTS of kisses! Gage loves toys and can entertain himself romping around tossing a ball in the air -- it's funny & cute to watch! He's walks well on leash (though he can be excitable when he sees other dogs) and has had quite a bit of training- he knows sit, down, place, drop, and takes treats with a gentle mouth. He is also crate and house trained. He is fostered through Best Friends Animal Rescue. He is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on his vaccinations. His adoption will come with continued training support. Gage is fostered with a female dog about his size (he weighs about 60 lbs). He has also participated in multi dog play group at the rescue. We think he may live well with another mellow med/large dog, or would be happy be the only dog in the home. He has not been tested with cats, but we believe he would prefer a home without them. Gage's ideal home is one that is pretty low key where he can continue to decompress from kennel life, but that also enjoys working with and training their dog. He craves direction and wants to please his person! He would prefer an adults only home, as lots of noise and activity make him anxious.
