About Hennessy

Adoption Fee: $180
Shiba Inu mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Meet Hennessy Poor Hennessy is looking for a new truly forever home. After four years of having a family of his own, Hennessy was returned because his owners didn't have the time to spend with him. As a young, active dog this wasn't a good situation for Hennessy and off to the shelter he goes. He arrived back on April 20, 2019. We're thankful he was returned to us, but hearts are broken - both Hennessy's and ours. Hennessy is terribly confused at being left behind in a noisy, concrete kennel. Watching him struggle to make sense of his new situation is heartbreaking. Hennessy is a gorgeous dog. It's hard to say what his breed is, but he looks like a Shibu Inu mix. Hennessy possesses many of the incredible temperament characteristics of the Shibu including: charming - check, alert - check, fearless - check, confident - check and faithful - check. Hennessy loves going on walks and being able to run. He'd make a terrific hiking or trail running partner and is always up for an adventure. Because he's so smart, Hennessy would do best with someone or a family that makes him a part of their activities and keeps him busy. He also loves being with his people. His 32 pound size makes him the perfect traveling companion, small enough to take anywhere and hearty enough to do anything. Hennessy has lived in a house his whole life and is house-trained. He's fully vetted and neutered. If you're looking for a gem of dog, come meet Hennessy. You'll be glad you did.
