About Riley

If you are interested in Riley, your first step is an application of interest from our website at www.animalsrule.org This stellar little man is Riley. We rescued him from the Downey Shelter with Pneumonia which he has since recovered from. His age is estimated to be around 8 years old and he weighs 7 pounds. He is a little bit of a special needs boy in that he requires special food. Prescription renal food from the Vet. He had a huge bladder stone removed that was taking up his entire bladder. For the rest of his years he will need to eat special prescription 'renal' food from the vet which helps him not develop bladder stones. He is scheduled for a dental with extractions on April 30th at our vet. We are posting him a little early as to generate some interest in him. He will be ready to go home around May 4th, 2019. On a good note, Riley is totally housebroken and is fine with all other small dogs. He has a very sweet and loving personality and his hair is wild and crazy and he loves it that way!! Riley will make someone a very happy little companion, he is very endearing and has a heart of gold. (posted 4/18/19) Riley can be seen by appointment only.
