April is between 2 and 3 years old and has had a very rough start to life. The scars on her face show that she was beaten and harmed, which explains why she need slow introductions to both new people and dogs because she is afraid of them and may growl or bark at them. April's best home situation is to be the only dog and to be with only one or two people, with no children in the home. You can't ever expect her to greet people in a friendly manner until she is used to them-meaning several introductions! She will lick your face and roll in the grass with you, and she loves to run at lightening speed in your yard.
