Meet Gracie, estimated to be over 10 years old and is an Australian Shepherd looking for her forever home. This sweet senior gal came to us from the Gratiot County Animal Shelter after she was found as a stray and was never claimed. We're not exactly sure what she's been through or how long she was on her own wandering around, but she's in pretty rough shape. She has new and old wounds on her feet, was horribly matted, and is very skinny. She currently only weighs about 30 pounds. Gracie is spayed, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped. She's housebroken and crate trained for the most part, but please keep in mind that she is old and therefore can't control her bladder as well as most dogs. She does great with the other dogs and every human she meets. She's a very laid back dog and just wants a quiet environment to live out the rest of her life in. She'll be getting a dental done very soon, as most of her teeth appear to be rotted. We know she'll make someone an amazing companion! Her adoption fee is $250 with an approved application (plus the fee towards mileage for any home visit/possible adoption). There is more information on the adoption application. If you have any further questions or would like the adoption application, please contact us!
