Hartselle, AL Hello out there, I am Lulu. My foster mom calls me Little Mama sometimes too. I love when her grandkids come over. They are so much fun to play with. I get worried if I hear the baby cry though and run to comfort him. My kisses always make it better. I have lived a hard life and am looking for my forever family to return all the love and affection I have to give. My foster family is great but such a busy place. We have a lot of company that I get to enjoy. I love everyone I meet, especially when they scratch my head and ears. (Which did I mention I have the biggest, cutest, floppiest hound dog ears you have ever seen? ) I mostly spend my days with my foster brothers. I might only be around 60lbs compared to their big 100+ selves but I still hold my own. We love to run and play outside. I even occasionally win a game of tug of war. If you know Danes that is hard to do! (We don't tell them I am not big like them though) The vet said I am around 6 years old. I have been gaining a lot of needed weight since my mom feeds me so well now. I went a long time not always having food to eat so I am still obsessed with food and yummy snacks and want to eat all the time. I am working on my housetraining still. Living in the conditions I have for so long, I sometimes forget I cannot just potty where I am. I am still working to remember that outside is the designated place. It's tough for a silly girl like me to remember all these new rules at once so I really need my forever family to be patient with me. I do well in my kennel and will even go in on my own now when I am asked to. (okay, okay,I confess, it did take a lot of treats to get me here) My foster mom says I would be a great companion dog. So if you are looking for a sweet little lady that loves all Humans shape or size, all fur pals shape or size and have lots of love to share I am your girl! Once I gain some confidence and security in myself and surroundings, I will really blossom!
