About Maya

~ Adoption Pending ~ My name is Maya, and I'm a 1-2 year old, 30 lbs spayed Lab/Beagle mix. I am a bundle of fun, snuggles and energy. I am shy, especially when meeting new people or in new situations, so I need a doggie brother or sister to help me feel safe and to show me the ropes. I would even love having more than one dog friend to hang out and play with. I would do best in a fenced yard so I can play hard with my siblings off leash. Playing with my dog friends is one of my favorite things! I am crate trained and know to ask to go outside to use the bathroom. My fosters have been helping me, and I have become so much more comfortable. In turn, I will be a great playmate! I am still a puppy so chew toys are important to keep me entertained. If given the opportunity, I love taking naps on the couch or in bed with my person. I don't have a mean bone in my body but I would probably do best in a home without children. I am a great snuggler and once I know you I attach myself very quickly. I love watching DogTV, and listening to soundscapes as well as smooth jazz. I've never watched Game of Thrones which is a great regret for me, but my foster family doesn't have HBO, maybe you can help me with this? I am a very devoted companion and would love a home where my family is around a lot. I am currently in Massachusetts, but transport can be approved to an approved adopter!
