SAY HELLO TO NEIMAN! Neiman is a beautiful 18 month old Cockapoo boy. Weighing in at 11 pounds, Newman is a sweet, playful boy whose life got off to a rough start. He was rescued after being hit by more than one car and left in the street for dead. Neiman suffered numerous pelvic fractures (more than 4) and we were unable to find a surgeon to undertake the massive repair. We were told to cage rest him and if he was in too much pain, euthanize him. We decided to try for a week or two and while the first week was pretty rough, Neiman showed us that he had an incredible will to survive and thrive. Within just a few weeks Neiman was up and walking and he quickly regained full mobility with no observable after effects of his almost life ending experience. Neiman has had training and socializing and would love to become part of a family. He might prefer to be an only dog as he can be somewhat selective as he has had an issue here and there with others in his foster home. Maybe a low key smaller breed of like size and age might be ok, but as always. a meet with your dog is mandatory. Neiman greets other dogs on his walks respectfully does fine when meeting them. Neiman does not care for crating and will sadly cry when put in. So if crating is part of your family routine, Neiman is not the dog for you. Neiman has not been tested with children, so we prefer a family of adults only or adults with older kids over 11 / teens that have experience with small dogs. Neiman is a longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Neiman's adoption fee is $ 450.00 This includes all of his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his labwork, his neuter, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Neiman will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that he has been eating. His adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
