About June

June is a rescue that I took in February of 2016. She had mange & was badly neglected. She was nursed back to health and re-homed with me & my family. We believe her to be around 3 years old. She is up to date on all her shots, spayed, has a chip through PetWatch and we have been giving her heart worm medicine. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I am no longer capable of giving her the physical activity and training she needs. She is very intelligent & loving. She would probably do well with a companion dog that could help exhaust her energy. Her alpha tendencies are to gain your attention-so a more passive dog would be good for her. An owner that has time, energy & interest to interact with her would be ideal. This is an extremely difficult thing for me to do, but I do feel it's best for her.
