Fay - ID#A4066620 My name is FAY. I am a spayed female, brindle American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old, and I first came to the shelter on Jan 14, 2019. Poor Fay! Some dogs handle the stress of the shelter better than others, and poor Fay is having a rough time. The constant passing by of people and other dogs is so stressful for her and she is in her kennel. Which is so sad because Fay likes other dogs and people. She was first surrendered to the shelter in January, no reason given. Owner stated she was friendly and loves people, but did bark some. Fay was adopted out the first of April, and returned next day saying she was aggressive towards male pit bull and small dog. We have never seen her be aggressive, and a meet and greet was not performed before Fay went home with the adopter. If you already have a dog, we recommend you bring your dog to the shelter to meet Fay before taking her home with you. Not all dogs get along, and a meet and greet is always best to determine if there is any risk between the two dogs. Fay is a sweet and playful girl-she loves hanging out on a hot day in the kiddie pool! She also knows sit and shake, and because she is so smart, she is learning come too! Fay loves treats but has not been very interested in toys and walks nice on a leash. If you have other dogs, we recommend bringing them to meet Fay. We do not know experience with cats. Fay is a calm sweet girl just waiting for her forever family. Unless Fay is adopted very soon, she will probably face euthanasia.
