About Bo

Bo is a handsome 8-year-old Weimaraner, a WeimRescueSC alum, who is looking for a new loving home where he can enjoy a fenced yard and maybe a few squirrels to chase. He's a survivor who has had some rough times in his earlier life so would really appreciate a mellow environment where he can feel safe and relaxed. He is a little shy at first when meeting new dogs but warms up when given a little time to get to know them on his own terms. He does need space from other new dogs when he's on leash though, so best not to make introductions then. He's a friendly boy once he gets to know you but definitely not a cat lover and may go into chase mode when he spots one, so no cat siblings please. He enjoys free roaming the house and does fine without being crated.
