About Kate

This cute red gal with a tipped ear is Kate. She is a 11 year old Australian Cattledog. She weighs 55 pounds and is losing weight. Kate obviously has Cattledog brains. She knows sit, down, go outside, and go to your crate. She is house and crate trained. She likes to please her people. Kate likes to go with her person. She is good on leash and is a polite passenger in the car. Kate is generally good with people, though she isn't kid tested. She is a Cattledog, so she can be protective of her people. It's nothing that a Cattledog / herder savvy home can't easily manage. It's just a Cattledog quirk. Kate is okay with other dogs, better with small dogs, but really wants to be an only. She isn't a dog park gal for sure. That said, she is good with cats. She lets them rub in her and has no reaction. Kate is very affectionate and playful with her people. She likes to play tug and jump around a bit. As she loses weight, she gets more fun and active. Kate has a lot of love and personality to give, and would make a wonderful companion to someone who has a more relaxed indoor life.�%A0She will be someone's shadow and loyal, best pal. �%A0Kate is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in Simi Valley. We do not ship our dogs. She is available for a meeting and adoption in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
