Chihuahua / English Toy Spaniel

[Read About Natural Seizure Care] Axle is a male mix breed Chihuahua and English toy terrier. He is 7 years old now. We have had him for 3 of those 7 years. The shelter that we got him from gave us this background of his life before them: He had been on the run from the animal control people for a year and a half. They had been contacted by someone who jad known the owners and had known that they had been used for fighting dogs. They informed animal control this dog had been used to train pit bull puppies to fight before they were matched against big dogs. But did reassure them that he was a sweet dog still.** Note don't let this fool you, this dog is still quite the lover!** When we got him the shelter had him on a euthanize list because of his kennel cough not getting better. (Turns out he had learned tho fake cough for the attention). He was a great addition to our 1 dog house hold. He sings with us, loves motorcycle rides, being outside, eating ice cream, and his all time fave curling up in a blanket next to someone and napping for hours. Now since we had a roommate move in with a female dog, had a litter of 6 puppies, and 4 kids move in the house this is not a good place for Axlerod to be anymore. He has gotten anxiety so bad that he is having seizures. He's lashing out and biting at kids. He chased the mail lady for like.2 seconds and is now the reason that we have mailboxes on the curb instead of at our doors. My buddy has become so stressed out that he spend most of his time hiding in his house, a med sized kennel. He wants to be a good boy he is just overwhelmed here and I'm running out of options. We have neighbors that have threatened to shoot him, have made false reports about him and more. I have no more chances with the city with him, no one wants him because they have no hope for him, he won't pass the shelter tests and will be put down, and i would rather be miserable till the day he dies them him suffer any of those fates. I love this dog. I wish that things had been different but i can't change the people in my home but i am hoping and praying that i find the calm loving home he needs and deserves. This is a misunderstood dog who has some easy to manage, one on one, quarks. Pleas if you think your home might be just what this little rockstar needs please contact me. I have videos and more pictures at requests. Thank you for reading through all if you did indeed make it.
