About Miss Callie

Miss Callie has been with us for a few months now. She is about 3 years old and is a ChiWeenie. She has experienced some trauma in her little life that causes her to be very fearful of being handled or touched on her sides or her back. She can be nippy when she is frightened, so we will not place her into a home with children. She had been living with children when she came to us, and her fear of the children was the reason her former family gave her up. Once Callie trusts you, she will be the best little dog in the world. She is very active and playful and very funny. She loves Dillon, a young male Dachshund we recently took in, so we are hoping to rehome them together.
