The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less than ideal conditions so will need to be house and leash trained. Most have never lived in house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. Hi! My name is Blossom and I am a little senior Poodle girl who is 10 years old and I weigh 10 pounds. I have lived in confinement all of my life so I need a quiet home with no children and where I will be the center of my new caregiver's life. I have a juvenile eye, no sight in that eye, have had chronic ear infections and have now had to have my other eye removed so I am totally without sight. I will medication daily, probably for the rest of my life, but I am a little trooper and sit very still for it. I am very scared of this new dark world. It seems that I just can't catch a break. 10 years in a cage having puppies and when I was finally released, I am now confined due to my lack of sight and limited hearing.
