Jax, 1.5 years old, 54 pounds Suspected to be a German shepherd/pitbull mix Neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative Sweet as can be and full of energy! He's very eager to please! We adopted this incredibly sweet boy from a foster home with every intention of caring for him to the fullest... Unfortunately during a burst of energy, he jumped into my leg and injured my knee quite painfully. Not sure the extent of the damage but may be torn ligaments. Now I have been unable to accommodate his activity level and am heartbroken to say that he needs to be sent home with someone who can care for him better than we can. He's got a heart of gold, but unfortunately I've gotten a bit reflexively scared of him and his hyperactive moods just from the injury. He needs a place as soon as possible. He doesn't deserve to sit around the house with no outlet because I can't take him out! Please let me know if you can help us out. He would be best in a home with a yard and/or a very active owner. We have attempted shelters and rescues but no word as of now and many are already full.
