Tanner came to GGOH after being found by a private party. He was very, very hungry but was exhibiting a hard distended stomach (which we were quite concerned about) so it was off to the vet and what we found was that Tanner had consumed something very large that was blocking the passage of the contents of his stomach. Can you imagine being so hungry that you gulp down food whole, and food that is so large that you know you shouldn't eat it but you also don't know when your next meal will be so you take the chance and eat it anyway - that was Tanner's life before coming to us. Thankfully we have an amazing group of vets that we work with and they were able to remove the blockage and send Tanner back to us good as new. Tanner is lovable fella who would very much like to be your only cat - he does fine with other cats but just would rather have you all to himself. He's great with kids and doesn't appear to have any fears related to dogs. He's playful and active. Tanner's DOB is approximately 12/21/15.
