About Whitley

Whitley is available for adoption. He is being fostered in St. Pete, FL (Pinellas County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families. Whitley is a handsome young man of about 3 years and 50lbs looking for a heeler-savvy adopter. As expected in his teenager age - he's easily excited and needs a home that wants to provide him a moderate-to-high amount of activity to keep him stimulated. His foster family currently has him in a training program and he's learning a ton of new tricks to help him be the best dog :) He has improved ten-fold and his current education will need to be followed through in his future adoptive home. Since he is food motivated, he is a great trainee and wants to please! He's got you covered if you are looking for a running buddy or a skateboard buddy. He is house trained and a total dream in the crate. Whitley is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm-free. We are a foster-based rescue organization with foster homes throughout the state of Florida. We predominantly save dogs from municipal shelters throughout the Southeastern U.S. Our rescue dogs live in foster homes - there is no central facility.
