About Grizzly

This big hunk is Grizzly. He is a young male Rottweiler with lots of energy. He talks quite a bit and likes to jump around and people may misunderstand his excitement. He does seem to prefer female humans over males and would do wonderfully with a breed experienced owner who can provide the leadership he needs. He is extremely treat motivated and knows how to sit and speak on command. We are still working on not pulling on the leash and not being grabby when it comes to treats. Grizzly really likes stuffed toys but doesn't have much interest in harder chew toys or balls. He is a LOT of dog and needs someone who is physically strong and able to keep up with him. We do not recommend a home with children due to his size and energy level, it is really dependent on anyone who adopts him to be willing to work with him to continue his education. He is certainly willing to learn but his person must both motivated to teach him, and patient while he is learning. At this time he has not been well socialized with other animals and it will be up to his new owner to work with him and provide training for that if it is a requirement.
