About Desi

This girl was originally abandoned in McCall with 3 puppies; then she was adopted to a loving family who sadly turned her over to Fuzzy Pawz Rescue when their life took an unexpected turn and they could no longer care for Desi. While it was a heartbreaking decision for the family they knew that Desi deserved better than they could give her. This girl is a dream dog; she is super smart, knows a lot of tricks/commands (including sit, down, roll over, shake, dance, fetch, crawl), loves to fetch a ball, loves water and snow, has raised stray foster kittens, raised neighbor pup and even had milk come in despite being spayed. She loves to snuggle up with you on the couch; play fetch in the back yard and just do most anything with you! Desi loves people of all ages and has lived with kids (over 5 only please). Desi has lived with cats and other dogs and does great with all of them; however she does not like little dogs for some reason. Another dog in the home would be great for her but the dog has to be at least 35 pounds. She does tend to get overly excited when meeting new dogs and will pull pretty hard if she is meeting them on leash. She is house trained, has nice manners and would love to learn new things with her new family.
