About Charlie

Charlie and his lab/chow mix house-mate got out and got into a fight with another dog. Charlie's owner is an elderly woman and feels she cannot take care of both dogs and wants to euthanize Charlie when his quarantine is over in 10 days. She has chosen to keep her lab/chow mix and euthanize Charlie. Having no logical reasoning for this other than she can't handle 2 dogs and 'Charlie is a pitbull'. Charlie is getting the short-end-of-the-stick, and they equally were at fault and involved in the dog fight. Can you or anyone you know take him or foster him? He is truly an incredible animal. House trained, sweet and very loving, easily gets attached to people he is familiar with, good with other animals (he has a brother, the lab/chow mix and he also lived with a cat that he was best friends with). When he feels threatened he will defend himself like any other dog. Charlie has not exhibited out of the ordinary behavior for a dog. Charlie just needs to find his perfect owner.
