Its is with a heavy heart that Rosie needs to find a new home. She is 8 months old. 1/2 Catahoula & 1/2 German Shorthaired Pointer. UTD on vaccs/worming/heartworm meds. She is crate trained and house broken. She WILL get on sofas, chairs & beds because we allow our pets to. Rosie must go to a home with a LOT of room to run, play and hopefully water to play in. Must have a high fence or ability to put her in a crate or dog run while away. GSP breeds are scent driven and her nose takes her off on unauthorized field trips. She also has a strong herding instinct. She has never been around children so given Catahoula nature, small children aren't recommended. The pros: sweet but cautious personality. Protective nature. Unique coloring, house broken, crate trained, not too big & not too small. Does not bark incessantly, only when someone drives up. Cons: Can & will jump a 4-5' fence. Will chase horses. Wants to help work them like cattle but as a breeder, we can't have that. We will he very selective where Rosie goes. There is a rehoming fee (50) which we will apply towards her spay at Vet of your choice. Veterinarian reference & home check will be done. If you can't agree to that, scroll on by.
