About Phaedra

Phaedra is a beautiful and loving babygirl who was rescued from the middle of a busy highway in April, 2017. The only thing she loves more than cuddling is running! She would make the perfect dog for an active person who is looking for a jogging buddy. When we first got her home it took some time to get her to come out of her shell (and get her to a healthy weight). But today she's all smiles. Though she loves our Laborador and two kitties, we have found that she is the most comfortable and best behaved when she is the only pet in the house. Though she has never shown signs of aggression or potential for violence, we noticed her behavior changes from unsustainably high energy to a normal, relaxed activity level and least anxious for your affection, when it's just her and her humans. She does not feel comfortable around strange dogs she doesn't know, so we advise caution if you are looking to take her to a dog park. It's possible to work her up to that comfort level, but it would take time and extra care that we did not have the capacity to do for her. Sadly the day has come where we are unable to keep her any longer in our home and must find a new family for her. Please reach out if you have any questions about her.
