LEONARDO - A3952035 My name is LEONARDO. I am a neutered male, tan and white American Pit Bull Terrier. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 9 months old. I have been at the shelter since Jan 19, 2019. Love bug Leonardo: this guy has is the biggest sweetheart on the planet. He just wants to be in your arms, gazing into your eyes. Occasionally, he'll chase a ball and bring it back, but mainly wants love. He is strong and jumps up once in awhile when he is excited. He needs a home because kennel life is taking a toll on him. He is particular about his dog friends from our limited observations in the shelter and what his previous owner observed. Leonardo has been in the shelter over 2 months, and is starting to show signs of kennel deterioration. This happens to all social animals eventually when they have been incarcerated for long periods of time. They need social interaction whether with other dogs or people.
