About Beetle

Beetle was a stray (likely abandoned hunting dog) that has proven to be just the sweetest pup I've ever met. After consulting with vets and local authorities, I was advised to find him a home myself, so here we are! He is somewhere between one and two years old, unbelievably sweet, and quick to learn routines and commands. He loves to play fetch and run around with kids, and will do just about anything for a treat! A sturdy fence and big yard will be needed for this dog. He has a good amount of energy, but also loves to lay around. He has exhibited NO aggressive behaviors, including: other dogs, people, food/eating, and toy. Since he is a hound, he WILL chase cats, but I haven't found it to be a problem with kids or other dogs. He is goofy and sweet, and really needs a place to call home. I would love for him to go to a family who will have plenty of time to play with him and keep him company, since being alone isn't fun for any dog, especially ones who have previously been abandoned.
