About Nala

Petite German Shepherd. 59 pounds and in great shape. Nala is my best friend but I can no longer have her in my apartment. I am her second owner. Her old owners could no longer have her because their living situation wasn't the best for the dog. I recently moved from Des Moines, IA to Omaha for my new job. She is currently staying with my father until we can find her a loving forever home. She will do best on a farm or ranch in Iowa or Nebraska, as a patrolling pup for intruders or even for hearding other animals. She is potty trained and extremely smart. She knows her basic commands and can catch food :P. She also can be trained on other things as well. She is great with kids and women. She is scared of men because her breeder abused her as a young puppy. It takes her 3 to 4 times to get used to males ( and some females ). After she gets used to you, she is the most loyal companion and very very sweet. She loved me right away. She cannot be with other dogs unless she gets training. It will be a rough goodbye, but I want her to be her happiest and would love to visit her as often as I can.
