Kermit to be EUTHANIZED on 7/6 Kermit deserves a break! Can you turn his luck around and give him the forever home that he had been patiently waiting for? Where do we start with this sweet, polite, house-trained, and adorably wonk-eared dog? Kermit is good boy who got dealt some bad hands. He was a long-timer at the MCACC over a year ago and was adopted to a family that had a dog at home (we told them he wasn't great with other dogs). They returned him months later in horrible condition. He was adopted again by a person in Ajo who surrendered him to Pima county animal shelter where he sat for months until he was e-listed and two of our volunteers drove down there and got him out. He was fostered for a while but couldn't stay because they had cats and a 3 year old child. He does NOT like cats and doesn't really care for other dogs. We aren't sure about small children but at this time, would not recommend he go to a family with very small children since he is a little bit head-shy and we would like to set this special boy up for success in any way that we can. Although, one of the previous owners said he loved their kids (no info on ages) and another previous owner said he was great with their 12 year old. Hopefully the saying 'bad luck comes in 3s' is true and his next adoption is with his perfect forever family! Can you make that happen for him?? He has seriously just been sitting in his kennel, quiet and polite and patient, he knows someone is out there for him, but let's not make him wait anymore!
