About Rocket

Rocket was pulled off the urgent list of an over crowded shelter. He had been there 6 months and his time was up. We have been fostering him for 2 months. He loves to cuddle and loves affection. Rocket does have a little above average amount of energy and will need someone who is active. He has been introduced to running along side the bicycle and he does well. He is living with two dog trainer/behavior experts and is learning to be calm in the home. He knows sit, down and shake. We are working everyday for good leash walking skills. Rocket does well in a crate. He gets along well with our female bully mix and male mix. He loves to play with them. I'm not sire how he would do around more dominant dogs though. On walks when he sees dogs he ignores them. He is currently living with a 2 year old toddler and doesn't mind her. We are very aware and watchful of their interactions. Rocket will come with a series of private lessons with his new owners. Rocket is heartworm positive and is undergoing treatment.
