About Sheela

FEE WAIVED THROUGH APRIL 1, 2019 Sheela is a 4-5 year old Shepherd / Labrador Retriever mix that weighs about 50lbs. She is very calm, sweet, affectionate and loves attention. She attaches easily and will follow the ones that give her attention everywhere. She is used to sleeping in the bed with someone as well. She is a little reactionary to dogs that growl at her but otherwise gets along with other dogs. She pays no attention to the cats except to stop and sniff if they are on the floor. She walks well on a leash and knows sit, down, come, and stay. She does have some separation anxiety and does not like to be crated. She did fine left in the room but not the crate. She is spayed and vaccinated. She was heartworm positive when we rescued her but she received treatment 2 weeks ago. Sheela will be a foster to adopt situation so that she will still be directly under our care until she tests heartworm negative, at which time we will finalize the adoption.
